When I first heard the recording of the phone call that took place on Saturday between Donald Trump and the Secretary of State of Georgia, I was devastated. Not surprised, not one bit, but devastated, because a part of me is still wondering how we got ourselves into this mess.
The news has been playing sections of the phone conversation for days now, and I didn’t realize it until now, but it was really getting me down.
I should have known better than to let myself get down, though. I should have known that the internet would manage to take something so terrible and turn it into something we can all love and enjoy.
